Experienced team manager Roger Legeay has again created what is perhaps the strongest French team in the UCI ProTour, combining the experience and talent of both French and international riders.

Norway’s Thor Hushovd will lead Crédit Agricole in the sprints and tough spring classics such as the Tour of Flanders. The team has been strengthened to help him turn his many second places in 2007 into prestigious victories in 2008. The experienced British sprinter Jeremy Hunt has joined the team along with Eric Berthou, Gabriel Rasch and determined Australian Simon Gerrans. With William Bonnet and Mark Renshaw already in the team, Crédit Agricole and Hushovd will have a formidable lead-out train in the sprints.

Italy’s Pietro Caucchioli will again lead the Crédit Agricole team in the major UCI ProTour stage races, while time trial expert Laszlo Bodrogi will target prologues and the Olympic Games in Beijing. Young riders such as Remi Pauriol and Christophe Le Mevel are expected to improve even more in 2008, while neo-professionals include the talented Maxime Méderel and Ignas Konovalovas.
